CHAMPAIGN – To help seniors learn how to protect themselves from scam artists and fraudulent businesses, State Senator Paul Faraci is hosting senior fraud seminars in partnership with the CRIS Healthy Aging Center of Vermilion and Champaign County.
“With the threat of fraud on the rise, it becomes increasingly important to protect our seniors,” said Faraci (D-Champaign). “Hosting senior fraud seminars in our district ensures we’re equipping older adults with the knowledge and resources they need to safeguard their finances.”
Faraci’s office is hosting two senior fraud seminars on Monday, July 15. The Danville seminar will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the CRIS Healthy Aging Center located at 309 N. Franklin St. The Champaign seminar will begin at 3 p.m. at the CRIS Healthy Aging Center located at 4116 Fieldstone Rd.
